About The Show......

This special "Best Of Friends Tour" is the chance to see Ollie Austin "The Voice Of Country Music" as you've never seen him before, standing up and playing acoustic guitar in front of a full five piece band.

This fantastic show has been packed with well over 2 hours of pure country music played at it's very best. It's a complete show which makes for a great evening out and most of all real value for money.

Enjoy the theatre atmosphere, comfortable seating, stage lights, sit back and relax and enjoy the whole evening of real country music.

They will give you a mixture of ballads, love songs, waltz's and up tempo numbers sure to get your evening off to a great start.

After a short interval everybody then takes their seats for well over 1 hour 30 mins of entertainment, just what everybody has been waiting for Ollie Austin & His All Star Country Band.

The show is packed with pure country standards like "You're My Best Friend" & "Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain".

Great care has been given to make sure the show is full of a wide range of dynamics & tempos from something as upbeat and angry as "Jackson" to the more gentle and tender love song "Today I Started Loving You Again".

Not forgetting the magical duets spread throughout the evening Ollie & Merv with "Good Hearted Woman", Ollie & Debbie with the beautiful "Storms Never Last" and Ollie & Maria with "Jackson".

Songs to make you clap your hands and stamp your feet "Tulsa Time" & "Don't Ever Leave Me Again " and the ever popular singalong songs "Sea Of Heartbreak" and "Little Ole Wine Drinker Me" making sure that there is something for everybody.

With Ollie's Voice, backing vocals and 3 Lead Instruments (Piano, Guitar & Pedal Steel) there is always something going on within the show from all areas of the stage, you never quite know what's going to happen next or where it's going to come from.

Then there is a real twist to the show with the very popular solo sections from different band members.

First of all Debbie Allen steps out from behind her keyboards picks up the Accordion and gives us a foot stomping hand clapping couple of jigs and reels "Gay Gordons and "The Irish Washer Women" both of these go down really well with the audience.

Then it's straight over to the other side of the stage, Les Wright one of the UK's finest Pedal Steel players then takes the spotlight to wow the audience with a Pedal Steel spectacular "The Orange Blossom Special" the audience are taken on the this magical train journey whilst Les weaves his magic at high speed along the pedal steel before bringing the train back to into the station. You'll have the chance to enjoy the Pedal Steel being played at it's very, very best.

It's not over yet, now for something really special, the band then leave the stage, the lights drop down and Ollie is left on his own with just his smooth, rich voice and his guitar, he will then treat the audience to an acoustic spot, Ollie sings two beautiful story songs and whilst he's playing you can hear a pin drop.

This brings a real change to the whole show dynamics and allows the audience to hear just why Ollie is named " the voice of country music" with just his ever faithful guitar, he'll draw you in with his magical voice.

As the band re-joins Ollie back on stage they lift the show back up to leave the audience on a high, the audience have been entertained by well over 2 hours of country music in this jam packed show.
